The Service Offering
The Service allows TV and radio stations to terminate the signal anywhere in East Africa. All links are transmitted from Alldean Earth Stations in East Africa. From the Earth Station the signal is compressed to MPEG-2 standard and broadcasted via the advanced uplink facility.

The signal is received by receive only dishes with a TVRO LNB and professional decoder. The high quality digital signal can be then distributed locally at each station using VHF/UHF transmitters. Alldean has installed receive-only dishes in many locations for its customers throughout East Africa.
